BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, 25 Dis – Najip FC mencipta sejarah dengan mara buat pertama kalinya ke perlawanan akhir Piala FA DST menerusi catatan bersejarah menewaskan pasukan yang belum pernah ditewaskannya mahupun seri sebelum ini, Indera SC dengan jaringan 2-1 pada perlawanan separuh akhir Piala FA DST-NFABD 2014 malam tadi. Najip FC and Indera SC players in action. BY FADHIL YUNUS Najip FC reached the final of the DST FA Cup after a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Indera SC at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium last night. The intensity of the rivalry was evident as a consequence of their numerous duels in the league but records count for nothing when the two met in the semi-final. Najip was boosted by the inclusion of Mohd Azri bin Zahari and the national player made an immediate impact in scoring the opener. Indera levelled proceedings after Mohd Asri bin Hj Aspar scored the equaliser on the 37th minute. However, the joy was short-lived for Indera as Muhd Hanif @ Abd Hadi bin Hamir sparked wild scenes as Najip FC regained the lead. Najip pressed for a third but the rhythm slowly moved in favour of Indera and Najip had to supress the unrelenting pressure. There was late a drama near the end of the match when a Najip player was fouled on the box but they missed the

INDERA BELASAH WIJAYA

The game remained goalless for more than an hour on a wet playing surface with both sides trying to carve out opportunities. The breakthrough came and the floodgate opened for the DST Super League champions as Indera found the net twice within two minutes. Moments before breaking Wijaya’s resistance, Indera were presented with two decent chances. The ball fell to Abdul Mu’is bin Sisa before unleashing a powerful low strike to establish the lead for the team. Indera sent a precise long ball over the top of the Wijaya rear guard allowing Hamizan Aziz bin Sulaiman to double the lead. Indera was gifted a penalty in which Mohd Asri bin Hj Aspar duly converted. Md Khairul Anwar bin Abd Rahim scored late in additional time to add gloss to the comprehensive wi

oleh HASRULRAIZAN Pasukan bukan liga, Menglait FC memberikan persaingan sengit kepada juara Liga Super DST 2014, Indera SC dalam pusingan keempat Piala FA DST-NFABD 2014 malam tadi sebelum terpaksa akur tewas 2-4. Namun tiada siapa menjangka Menglait FC mampu menyaingi kehebatan juara Liga Super DST dua musim berturut-turut lebih-lebih lagi apabila ia sudah ketinggalan 0-1 seawal minit ke-12 menerusi jaringan penyerang prolifik Indera SC, Hamizan Aziz bin Sulaiman. by HADI MD HUSAIN INDERA SC manager Rosdin Hj Abd Aziz believes his team is strong enough to edge Menglait in the fourth round of the DST FA Cup 2014 tonight. If they triumph against Menglait at the Balapan Track and Field of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas, two-time DST Super League defending champions Indera will go into the quarter-finals along with Kilanas FC, the Royal Brunei Armed Forces Sports Council (MS ABDB), the Royal Brunei Police Force Sports Council (MS PDB), Wijaya FC and Najip FC. “There are no major changes in our team’s line-up, so the players are already compatible playing together...
