INDERA FC NFABD FUTSAL CHAMPIONS

Bandar Seri Begawan - In an enthralling conclusion to this year's Red Bull NFABD Futsal Champions League 2012, Indera SC were crowned champions after one-upping MS ABDB in the final with a 4-2 victory at the Indoor Stadium, Berakas yesterday.

Indera SC, sporting their home colours of yellow and blue, took the load through Ak Md Naqib as early as the third minute.

It was 2-0 shortly after with Md Amirulizam joining Naqib on the score sheet and it appeared as if the game was going to snowball into a huge victory for Indera SC.

However, MS ABDB substitute Md Zairul Hazmin had other ideas on his mind, and he pulled one back in the 1011 minute with a well-taken finish.

Seven minutes later, he had doubled his tally and drawn his side level after the Indera SC defenders once more allowed the MS ABDB striker to control the ball, before turning and picking his spot.

The high intensity and pace of the match was seemingly playing in MS ABDB's favour, but Indera SC always looked…

Bandar Seri Begawan - Indera SC will take on MS ABDB in the final of the Red Bull NFABD Futsal Champions League 2012, with both teams vying to be crowned the best futsal team in the nation.

During a media conference yesterday held at the National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD) House, it was revealed that the winners of the second edition of the tournament will walk away with $3,000, whilst the runners-up will receive $2,000.
Indera SC remains the only unbeaten team left in the competition after an Ak Mohd Naqib Pg Timbang hat-trick sealed a 6-3 victory over Arbisham FC in the semifinals last month.
The same cannot be said for MS ABDB, however, after a group stage defeat at the hands of Pega Star FT before the Ramadan break besmirched their almost flawless record, but a series of 'hard fought wins in the knockout stages of the tournament, including a 2-1 win over Kota Junior FC in the semis, has shown that they are a team growing from strength to strength and will d…

CAN INDERA SPORTS CLUB WITHSTAND MS ABDB'S FIRE POWER? FUTSAL

INDERA Sports Club, the only undefeated team in the tournament, are relishing the opportunity of going up against Royal Brunei Armed Forces Sports Council (MS ABDB) in Sunday's National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD) Red Bull Futsal Championship 2012 final.

Though the army men look like favourites heading into the championship decider, which kicks off at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex's Indoor Stadium, Indera believe they can pull off an upset.
"MS ABDB have the advantage since their futsal team has been around for a long time and they also train a lot," said Indera's Rosdin Hj Abdul Aziz during yesterday's pre-match press conference.
"Our team has a lot of young players, and though our preparations have been hampered by the lack of training facilities, we will try our best and won't give up.
"As for not losing so far ... I think luck has been on our side. We are a bit surprised with the undefeat…
