DEFEAT FAILS TO HAMPER INDERA SC'S TITLE CELEBRATION

BY FADHIL YUNOS MS ABDB may have inflicted Indera SC’s first defeat of the season, but that failed to spoil the latter’s DST Super League title celebrations. Indera SC had wrapped up the title in emphatic fashion after dismantling QAF FC in the recent title-clinching game. Indera SC head coach Hj Omar Hj Jamil acknowledged the defeat as a valuable lesson. “Hopefully, we can start the 2015 season better than how we fared tonight,” Hj Omar said. Throughout the match, the team struggled to maintain their unbeaten record, with coach admitting they had immensely missed the services of captain Sahrin bin Momin. MS ABDB went ahead through Suhaimi bin Hj Md Yussof in the 19th minute before Abd Azizi bin Ali Rahman doubled the lead in the 46th minute. Indera SC’s Reduan bin Hj Petara reduced the arrears in the 49th minute. The congested Indera defence was taken by surprise when a feigned cross from a set- piece ended in a short pass for a teammate but it materialis
