AM GUNNERS FC IN SEMIS (BRUNEI FM)

By Shahrol Daud A well-taken free-kick by Ak Anaqi Sufi Pg Omar in the second half of the game for a 2-1 win over Indera FC sealed AM Gunners FC’s qualification for the DST Group FA Cup semifinals at the Berakas Sports Complex last night. It was his teammate Rosland Zaman who scored first in the 13th minute from a corner-kick before Indera FC’s Abd Aziz Tamit levelled the score eight minutes before half time. The two teams in search for another goal struggled to find their rhythm before referee pointed out for a free kick in favour of AM Gunners FC. Ak Anaqi Sufi stepped up to take the free kick from 35 yards to score the winning goal for AM Gunners FC in the 68th minute. Brunei FM

INDERA RELY ON DPMM FC CONNECTION

By Jason Thomas NORILHAM Hj Jais is betting on Indera FC's team chemistry to see them through tonight's DST Group Brunei FA Cup quarter-final match against AM Gunners FC. The match at the Berakas Sports Complex will be the ex-DPMM FC assistant coach's seventh match in charge of Indera, and he said he has seen marked changes in the side. Two ex-DPMM FC players, Helmi Zambin and Azwan Salleh, helped Indera to a 3-2 result over Majra FC in the second round on Tuesday. Left winger Sairol Hj Sahari makes up the third player in the trio of ex-DPMM midfielders currently playing for Indera, but Norilham downplayed suggestions that it was the DPMM FC connection that won the match. "It's not just the ex-DPMM FC players. I can see the connection between the DPMM players and non-DPMM FC players and it is phenomenal!" he said. The 68th minute stunner allowed the Gunners to claim a 2-1 victory over Indera FC. Rosland Zaman scored the opener before Indera FC's Abdul Aziz Tamit equalised before the break. Powered by the drum beats of their supporters, Indera FC got off to a strong start. Md Khayrun Salleh dribbled from the half-way beating two Gunners before unleashing a rocket that whistled wide of the left post. That shot on goal sparked the Gunners from their slumber. Hj Md Subhi Abdillah Hj Bakir broke through two defenders to connect with a shot from the left flank, rattling the cr
