THE National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam’s (NFABD) Disciplinary Committee yesterday fined Kasuka FC and Indera Sports Club and their players after finding them guilty of violent conduct and misconduct in their DST Super League match on March 27 which was abandoned due to heated arguments.

The game at the Berakas Sports Complex was stopped minutes before the break in an incident which started when Kasuka’s Afindi Yati Tuah was challenged by Indera’s Sahrin Momin.

The referee approached the two players but sent off a different Indera player, Hardi Bujang, which saw tension arise between the players and match officials.

Sahrin angrily made his way to the referee but was pulled away and restrained by Kasuka’s Pg Shahruddin Pg Hj Md Tejuddin.

Dissatisfied Indera supporters started voicing their displeasure at the match officials, and the referee decided to call off the match as he was concerned for his and the other match officials’ safety.
