INDERA AND KASUKA FACE THE MUSIC AFTER FIASCO


INDERA SC and Kasuka FC have been banned from their next two games, as a result of the abandonment of their DST Super League match last month, which was marred in violence.
 
The teams, who were fined $500 each after being found guilty of misconduct, will have their points awarded to their opponents.
 
Two Indera SC players have been suspended and fined following the fiasco on March 27.
 
Hardi Bujang was banned for two matches and fined $500 after he was found guilty of violence and unsporting conduct.
 
His teammate Sahrin Momin was fined $250 and given one-match suspension for misconduct against match officials.
 
Failure to pay the fines will result in further suspensions.
 
All parties have three days to appeal the decision.

BAYONG SENDS QAF FC TO SUMMIT

INDERA, TABUAN MUDA REPLAY CONFIRMED

Picture: BT file Two-time DST Super League champions Indera Sports Club (SC) have been successfully granted a replay against Tabuan Muda (the national Under-23 team). The match last month was called off after 61 minutes when Indera captain Shahrin Hj Momin was sent off for a second yellow card, leaving the team with just eight players. The referee stopped the game and told both teams the match could not continue if one side has only eight players in the team – which is against FIFA’s ‘Laws of the Game 2015/2016’. In the rule book, Law 3 states that “A match is played by two teams, each consisting of not more than eleven players, one of whom is the goalkeeper.
