INDERA SC REACH FUTSAL FINAL

Indera SC were the first team to reach the final of the Red Bull NFABD Futsal Champions League 2012 after outclassing Arbisham 6-3 in the early kick off at the Multipurpose Hall of the Hassanal Bolkiah Sports Complex last night. Rifdi gave Arbisham the lead just seconds after the kick off, before Ak Md Naqib responded a minute later for Indera SC. Abd Mansyur put Arbisham ahead for the second time on the night in the 10th minute, before Ak Md Naqib equalized for Indera SC once more nine minutes later. He would grab his hat-trick in the 21st minute, before Junaidi, Md Norazizam and Md Ulfi effectively ended all hope of Arbisham staging a comeback, with Shahminur netting a consolation goal in the dying seconds of the game. MS ABDB are their final opponents following a jittery 2-1 victory over Kota Junior in the late kick off. BY AK FAUZI PG SALLEH INDERA SC manager Aminuddin Nasuha has demanded complete concentration from his players when they take on Arbisyam FC in the semi-finals of the National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD) Redbull Futsal Championship 2012 at 8pm tonight at the Multipurpose Hall of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas. With the club recent good form in the tournament, Aminuddin has urged his players to maintain focus to ensure a final berth of the NFABD Redbull Futsal Championship 2012. He told The Brunei Times last night: "They have to play their normal game, give 100 per cent commitment and stay focused if they are going to win the game. We could not afford to make mistakes in this stage of the game. Indera SC defeated Pega Star Team 7-6 in the quarter-finals played at the Indoor Stadium of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas. Both team were equally matched at defence and offence. NO BREAKS FOR INDERA FC DURING RAMADHAN

By  AK FAUZI PG SALLEH IT IS business as usual for Indera FC during this holy month of Ramadhan as they are continue training as usual. With the Brunei FA Cup tournament undergoing a two-month break for Ramadhan and the following Hari Raya festivities, football training across the country seems to have come to an abrupt halt but this is not the case for Indera FC. "We will still be training as usual during Ramadhan. There will be no break. We will still train three times a week, but we will do it at night after the Tarawikh prayer," said Indera FC Manager Rosdin Hj Abd Aziz, adding that some of the players are also undergoing training for the AFF Suzuki Cup Qualifiers. BRUNEI DST FA CUP 2012 (BRUNEI NEWS)

Indera Sports Club beat Darussalam Soccer Player United last night to move to the next round of the Brunei DST FA Cup 2012. The match was held at the Berakas Sports Complex's field. Wearing the white jersey, DSP United took the lead in the 32nd minute through Azmil Maidin. Fine goalkeeping and good defending prevented Indera SC from equalising.  Five minutes into the second half, Indera SC finally equalised when Reduan Haji Petara headed home a spot kick. Both teams then launched counter-attacks, but Indera SC was rewarded with the second goal in the 82nd minute. A powerful shot from Mohd Khairul Anwar Rahim hit a DSP United defender and the goalkeeper failed to clear the deflection. The final score Indera SC - 2 and DSP United - 1. Muhammad Faid scored a brace in the game. Teammates Muhammad Ulfi and Muhammad Naqib also got their name onto the scoresheet with a goal each. It was a must-win game for Indera SC if they are to progress to the next round after being held to a 1-1 draw by Arbisyam FC in their first game in May. "It is a good campaign so far.
