BRUNEI DST FA CUP 2012 (BRUNEI NEWS)

Indera Sports Club beat Darussalam Soccer Player United last night to move to the next round of the Brunei DST FA Cup 2012. The match was held at the Berakas Sports Complex's field.

Wearing the white jersey, DSP United took the lead in the 32nd minute through Azmil Maidin. Fine goalkeeping and good defending prevented Indera SC from equalising.

Five minutes into the second half, Indera SC finally equalised when Reduan Haji Petara headed home a spot kick. Both teams then launched counter-attacks, but Indera SC was rewarded with the second goal in the 82nd minute. A powerful shot from Mohd Khairul Anwar Rahim hit a DSP United defender and the goalkeeper failed to clear the deflection. The final score Indera SC - 2 and DSP United - 1.
