INDERA SC beat Red Butterfly 4-2 in their second game in Group A of the National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD) Red Bull Futsal championship 2012 at the Indoor Stadium of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas last Friday.

Muhammad Faid scored a brace in the game. Teammates Muhammad Ulfi and Muhammad Naqib also got their name onto the scoresheet with a goal each.

It was a must-win game for Indera SC if they are to progress to the next round after being held to a 1-1 draw by Arbisyam FC in their first game in May.

"It is a good campaign so far. We drew against Arbisyam FC in the first match and won against Red Butterfly. I am happy with the performances of my players in the tournament," said Indera SC team-manager Aminuddin Nasuha.

"This is only our second game in a month. We waited for a month to play (against Red Butterfly). The players could have lost their momentum and form in the game but we try to keep the players fit for every game.

"We will play Liverpool SC in our next game. We have never played against this team before. We will focus on our team and try our best," added the manager.

The other matches saw Azmainshah Fc thrash T10 11-1 in Group B while Stone Villa FT dominated Najip FC 6-1 in Group G.

Group H action saw Kota Rangers beat PLBMB 4-2 while Syah Kampong edged Mengellela FT 3-2 in Group E.

A total of 40 teams separated into eight groups are vying for top honours in the tournament.
