Jerudong move up a rung to fourth in the 10-team ladder and can finish the campaign in that spot if Majra fail to win their last game against Brunei Shell Football Team tomorrow. Indera, however, have no need to wait and end the season at sixth with 25 points from 18 games. Dominating the first half of the mid-table tussle at the Balapan Track and Field of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas, Jerudong led 1-0 going into the break but found themselves trailing 2-1 in the 69th minute. Now trailing league leaders and defending champions QAF FC by five points, the last two games for both sides will be crucial. Suhaime Hj Md Yussof opened the scoring at the Penanjong Camp in Tutong after 15 minutes, with Ak Md Safri Pg Hj Othman doubling the team's lead six minutes later. Ex-AM Gunners FC striker Md Isa Hj Bahar made it 3-0 in the 33rd minute to give the hosts a commanding lead heading into the break. But despite the 10-0 result at the Berakas Sports Complex issuing a strong statement to the rest of the sides in the 10-team table, the league leaders are not taking anything for granted in their match against Indera FC tomorrow. Indera might be seventh in the table with 15 points from five wins but QAF FC's coach doesn't think their position reflects their true potential especially with the recent inclusion of three former DPMM FC midfielders.
