AH UNITED and Indera FC will be looking for their sixth win of the season when they face off in the DST Group Brunei Premier League I tonight.

With only four games left for both clubs — including tonight's clash at the Berakas Sports Complex — both sides know that the pressure is on, especially since they are neck and neck heading into the season's climax.

A single point separates them in the 10-team table, AH United sixth with 16 points and Indera seventh with 15.

The first round encounter between the two teams ended 2-1 in favour of Indera.

"It is an important game but we are treating it just normally... just like any other game," said AH United's coach Zaini Tumih yesterday.

"We do have a few players out injured so hopefully they will be able to recover in time," he added.

AH United are coming off a 5-1 loss to Majra FC on Jan 13.

In the second-half of the table for most of the season after a slow start to their campaign, Zaini admitted that league glory would be unrealistic.

"Our team this year is mostly made up of young players, so our target this season is to concentrate on the FA Cup which will start after the league is over in March," he said.

One of the experienced players Zaini can count on to lead the team is Pg Sallehuddin Pg Haji Damit, the ex-DPMM FC skipper now playing for AH United.

Muhd Maududi Hilmi Kasmi is another former DPMM FC player who has created waves playing for AH United this season.

The duo will be up against three of their former teammates tonight.

Indera have been bolstered by the inclusion of midfielders Sairol Hj Sahari, Azwan Salleh and Md Helmi Zambin in their squad, and the team manager readily admitted the impact that the trio has had on the side.

"They have strengthened the team and I feel now we are more ready for any opposition," said Hj Zulkifli Hj Momin yesterday.

"There is a strong possibility that we will start with the same line-up that played against QAF," he said, referring to their 1-0 defeat to league leaders QAF FC on Jan 13.

The result was the first under new coach Ilham Hj Jais who took over from former DPMM FC assistant coach Pg Md Serfuddin Pg Hj Md Salleh.

"He is now training the Sports School team and he was unable to commit as much time as he liked to Indera," explained Hj Zulkifli.

The night's other match pits second from bottom Brunei Shell Football Team against eighth-placed Wijaya FC at the Brunei Shell Recreation Club in Seria.

Both games are scheduled to kick-off at 8:15pm.
