INDERA STAY PERFECT TO CLAIM TOP SPOT
INDERA SC shot to the top of the DST Super League with a 5-0 thumping of Wijaya FC last night at the Berakas Sports Complex.
The defending champions are the only unbeaten
left in the competition and have 16 points from six matches.
They displace previous leaders Royal Brunei
Police Force Sports Council (MS PDB) who are one point back.
It was the perfect start for Indera as Mohd
Zulkhairy Razali found the back of the net in the opening minute.
Reduan Hj Petara doubled their lead in the 28th
minute for the defending champions to carry a 2-0 advantage into halftime.
Abd Khair Hj Basri got his name on the
scoresheet in the 68th minute before Muhd Nur Ikhwan Othman added to the
scoreline in the 77th minute.
Md Khairul Anwar Abd Rahim completed the rout
with another goal in the three minutes from time.
In the other match, Liang Lumut Recreational
Club (LLRC) FT defeated Kilanas FC 5-2 at the Balapan Track and Field of the
Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas.
LLRC move up a position to fifth place with 11
points from six matches while Kilanas remain second from bottom of the 10-team
table with three points.
