A MERCILESS Hamizan Aziz Sulaiman hit seven goals as he led Indera Sports Club to a 15-0 humiliation of Sangsura FC in last night's DST National Football League action.

The striker's tally helped move Indera to the top of Group C ahead of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces' Sports Council (MS ABDB) and Royal Brunei Police Force Sports Council, heating up the fight to join the Brunei Super League as the two best teams in each group.

Their second goal-fest in as many games, Indera who thundered past Perda 16-1 on April 21 for what was then the biggest win in this year's edition of the tournament now have the best goal difference in the 32-team competition.

Their fourth win in five games, Indera have found the back of the net an astonishing 45 times and have let in only four.

Hamizan, who featured in the national team that competed at last year's Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Jakarta, scored his first goal in the 21st minute and bagged his brace a minute after the re-start.

His hat-trick came in the 76th minute and a quick-fire slew of three more goals in the 82nd, 87th and 90th minutes proved he was a man on a mission at the Berakas Sports Complex. in Berakas last night.

Seven other names got on the scoresheet with several familiar faces from the team that won the Hassanal Bolkiah Trophy for Brunei in March.

Md Karimurizal Kasmi netted a brace in the 18th and 45th minutes, with Ak Md Zulfadli Pg Hj Tajuddin opening the scoring in the fourth minute and goals by Md Aqmal Hakeem Abd Hamid (31st) and Md Azwan Ali Rahman (37th) making it 6-0 to the good at the break.

Sahrin Momin (53rd), Abdul Mu'iz Sisa (59th) and Abd Al-Wardi Abd Hamid (69th) also scored for Indera against the league newcomers.

Jerudong FC take on Tunas FC in this week's Group B game on Friday. The day's other tie pits IKLS against Perda in Group C.

Both matches will be played at the Berakas Sports Complex the former at 4pm and the latter at 8:15pm.
