INDERA FC GRAB WINNING GOAL AGAINST MS ABDB

INDERA FC scored one goal against MS ABDB in the DST Group Brunei Premier One League match last night at the Belapan Track and Field.

Md Aimaduddin Hj Ibrahim scored in the 76th minute as Ak Md Zulfadli Pg Hj Tajuddin passed the ball from the right hand corner of the pitch to him in the centre as he cleanly put the ball pass the goal keeper.
It was a tight match and both teams were determined to win the match.

MS ABDB had a lot of opportunities to score but was unsuccessful in claiming any goals. Good passes both long and short could not add up to any goals for them.
Indera FC on the other hand was on attack mode all night taking advantage of every error MS ABDB made.

They clearly was the dominant team having possession of the ball most of the time.
"My team played well and I'm content to win," Coach Hj Zulkipli Hj Momin of Indera FC said.
"It was a last minute change to the 4-5-1 format instead of using our old 4-4-2 format due to injured players," he added.
Hj Zulkipli stated that he needs to improve the midfielders passing to the striker as he identified it as the limitation of the team.
Meanwhile the other match of the night at the JBS Stadium saw Wijaya FC thrash Kasuka FC 6-1.

MD AQMAL SEES INDERA SC HOME

by YEE CHUN LEONG INDERA SC notched up their second straight win with a 1-0 victory over MS PDB (Royal Brunei Police Force's Sports Council) in Group C of the DST-National Football League 2011/2012 yesterday at the Balapan Track and Field in Berakas. It was an equally matched first half with neither team being able to control the midfield. Indera did break the deadlock before halftime with Md Aqmal Hakeem Abd Hamid scoring the only goal of the match in the 42nd minute. He received a good through ball to get behind two defenders and placed his shot past the outstretched arm of MS PDB goalkeeper Md Khairol Amin Hj Zainuddin. MS PDB had the upperhand in the aerial battle and enjoyed ball possession early on in the second half. Md Syarafuddin Hamdi Hj Talip had a good chance to equalise in the 55th minute after towering over the Indera defenders but his header was off target.
