CHAMPIONS MS ABDB TOO STRONG FOR INDERA

NEWLY-crowned DST Super League champions MS ABDB provided a warning alert of their level of preparedness ahead of their final league fixture against dethroned Indera SC after notching a comprehensive 4-1 drubbing at the expense of Lun Bawang at the Track and Field of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex on Sunday.

The all-conquering league champions have been the most consistent side in the league and Lun Bawang found it close to impossible to be in the same playing level with them.

A brace from Razimie Ramli and goals from Nazirul Hazim Mahadin and Adey Shariduan Johari gave the army personnel another comfortable outing. Zaimi Awat scored a mere consolation for the promoted side in the 68th minute.

Meanwhile, Jerudong FC pulled further distance from MS PDB in the league following a 4-1 victory at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium.

Bazli Said led the scoring with a brace while Hairol Azaman Shah Abdullah and Mardi Mirza Abdullah Bujang were also on target.

Faiq Ramllee netted for the beleaguered hosts just after the hour mark.
