INDERA DOWN LUN BAWANG 2-1
DST Super League defending champions Indera Sports Club edged past Lun Bawang 2-1 in a very close match at the Balapan Track and Field of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex last night. The victory means Indera are now just five points behind league leaders Royal Brunei Armed Forces Sports Council (MS ABDB) who have 33 points. Indera's coach Hj Omar Hj Jamil said that the victory was a very important one for the team following their shocking 2-0 defeat in the first round of the tournament last month. “It is a very important win for us… It was not an easy game but I am glad that we did not repeat the same result of the first round,” said Hj Omar in an interview with The Brunei Times after the match. “Lun Bawang have improved so much this year and they got a lot of good young players in the team, so they will only going to get better. “They played with five midfielders tonight so it was a bit difficult for us to match their strength in the midfield. ...
