INDERA WIN DST SUMBANGSIH CUP
Indera SC grabbed the
first piece of silverware this season in the curtain raiser DST Sumbangsih Cup
after winning 2-0 against MS ABDB at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium last
night.
Indera SC abandoned
their yellow jerseys for a black strip while the MS ABDB players were clad in
green and not in their usual black and yellow.
Goals from Sam Frank
and Hamizan Aziz bin Sulaiman ensured the title win for Indera SC.

The army stole an
extra yard of space and nearly gave the crowd a major lift but slippery
conditions may have caused all sorts of difficulties at the crucial moment.
They were reduced to
half chances and could not quite find a way to break through a relatively
comfortable defence. On the other end, an exciting move from one of Indera SC’s
width players nearly gifted the perfect icing of the cake but there was no
team- mate in sight to make the opportunity count.
By the final few
minutes of regulation time, rain was starting to pour down heavily and Indera
SC were relieved to see it go over the line.
Presenting the
Champion’s Trophy and Sumbangsih Cup to the winners was Hj Suhaimi bin Awang
Hussain, Chief Executive Officer of DST.
