INDERA PRESERVE UNBEATEN RECORD

Indera SC preserved their unbeaten record in the DST Super League following a comprehensive 3-0 win over LLRC FT at the Tutong Sports Complex on Monday night.

The win also meant that Indera have now cut the gap to two points on the top end of the table behind Najip FC and MS PDB with a game in hand.

Both teams entered the match level on points with Indera only ahead via goal difference by a single goal.


Mohd Asri bin Hj Aspar scored in the 40th minute before a three- minute brace from Mohd Zulkhairy bin Razali completed the win for Indera.

BAYONG SENDS QAF FC TO SUMMIT

INDERA, TABUAN MUDA REPLAY CONFIRMED

Picture: BT file Two-time DST Super League champions Indera Sports Club (SC) have been successfully granted a replay against Tabuan Muda (the national Under-23 team). The match last month was called off after 61 minutes when Indera captain Shahrin Hj Momin was sent off for a second yellow card, leaving the team with just eight players. The referee stopped the game and told both teams the match could not continue if one side has only eight players in the team – which is against FIFA’s ‘Laws of the Game 2015/2016’. In the rule book, Law 3 states that “A match is played by two teams, each consisting of not more than eleven players, one of whom is the goalkeeper.
