INDERA SC BEAT ABDB 2-0

BY FADHIL YUNUS

INDERA SC did their quest for a title defence no harm after showing foundations of steel in a true test of character by beating the Royal Brunei Armed Forces Sports Council (MS ABDB) 2-0 at the Balapan Track and Field last night.

The two teams are brimming with confidence in the league and it was no surprise that the match began on a quick tempo with MS ABDB finishing strongly as the first half drew to a close.

Indera SC overcame the attacking threat by converting a neat finish through Mohd Asri bin Hj Aspar after goalkeeper Muhd Suhandi bin Hj Awang Mahali got a hand to Hamizan Aziz bin Sulaiman’s shot.

Muhd Zulkhairy bin Razali added a second to provide a tall order for the army men.

Mohd Fakrul Zulhamzi bin Yussof was in full stretch to deny MS ABDB a route back into the match and were unbeatable as the match wore on.

Indera SC remained in a fine position entering mid-April as their rivals battled for points. Wijaya FC caused a major upset after defeating MS PDB 2-1 at the Berakas Sports Complex.
